This unique range of contemporary jewellery is created by using broken watch components in a collaging and layering process. The principal materials used are brass, copper, enamel, steel, nickel and rubies. Julie hand makes each piece by carefully selecting and eliminating the raw materials, refining and layering through several stages to completion. The finished articles are then given a protective coat of lacquer.
Each piece is utterly unique and is a modern day curiosity, which is evocative of a bygone age.
