Suzanne Smith’s debut collection of unusual felt cakes and chocolates, striking table decorations and exquisite jewellery is inspired by the tradition of taking Afternoon Tea. Using a variety of materials including handmade felt, vintage lace, paper and ribbons, Suzanne aims to capture the nostalgia of times past through the recycling of vintage materials and memories into quirky and unusual gifts and jewellery.
This debut collection perfectly fuses beauty and indulgence with everyday usability, offering affordable luxury. Suzanne’s decorative objects and favours are suitable for a variety of occasions, including Weddings, Civil Partnerships, Christenings and Parties as well as making unique presents.
Suzanne is an emerging designer having only recently graduated from Glasgow School of Art, with a First Class Degree in Design (Silversmith & Jewellery). She was short listed for the Glasgow Design Medal in 2006 and is definitely a designer to watch.
